About

Contemporary photography: Hi, I'm Sean, a professional freelance photographer based in Purley (London | Surrey). I like to work in a documentary style, taking natural unforced photographs, without too much altering of the image. All work includes client consultation, secure on-line galleries, professional image enhancement and a quick turnaround.

I have been commissioned by many private and public sector clients, including Blow UP Media UK, Theatre Royal Bath, Quinton Design, Department of Transport, Sense Communications, Steer Davies Gleave, Transport for London, Teenage Cancer Trust and Academia Rossica.

Achievements include portfolio features in the British Journal of Photography and the journal of the Royal Photographic Society. A selection of my photographs are in the collection of Arcangel Images (specialists in creative rights-protected imagery) and have been used by publishers, such as Harper Collins. My work has been exhibited at Galerie Huit's Open Salon in Arles, France and Penang, Malaysia. I have also exhibited at several college photography shows and other group exhibitions (including two shows at the Bigger Picture Gallery, London).

Education: I worked an as assistant to a professional photographer, and studied photography at South Thames College (1999-2000) and Kensington & Chelsea College (2000-2003). All these vocational City & Guilds courses - including five professional level modules - were passed with distinction. I am a licensed member of the RPS.
